Oil-resistant rubber - NBR

Rubber NBR sheets sheets offer better resistance resistance to heat than SBR sheets. They are therefore used in many sectors of heavy industry, for example as sealing and impact-absorbing materials or as semi-finished products for the manufacture of various seal and components. We supply them either in rolls or as sheets in the required size and thickness.

Properties of NBR rubber sheets:

+ very good resistance to oil resistance and petrol
+ good mechanical properties
+ low permanent compression set
+ better heat resistance than SBR, low gas permeability
- poor resistance against weather conditions; flammable with toxic fumes
- poor resistance resistance to aromatic and polar solvents
